Our first product, the "Fram-R" is an optical laser projection system that displays construction plans on-site at full scale. Our technology, therefore, allows us to display construction plans on floors and therefore allows installers of interior systems to remove a crucial step from their work: ground tracing. The act of drawing plans on the ground before installation is eliminated, allowing a team to work faster and more efficiently while reducing risks. Responsibilities & Tasks Mechasys is looking for a software engineer with an interest in the development of a RESTful API with nodeJS which will be used to control a robot remotely and the development of an application for Android with the Flutter framework. The candidate will also work with a product designer to define the UI / UX of the application and will be the main developer of the application. The software engineer will play a key role in the engineering team and will need advanced debugging skills and an affinity to learn quickly in a startup environment. Specific Requirements Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited institution in computer engineering or related technical field. Previous professional experience as a software engineer, ideally in a highly scalable environment. 3+ years of experience with one or more programming or scripting languages Development skills in C, and experience in one or more of the following languages: C #, C ++, JavaScript (ES6), etc. Knowledge of networking and protocols (TCP / IP, UDP, DNS, XMPP, HTTP / S) Familiar with independent platform tools and libraries. Expertise and practical experience of containers and container orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes Familiar with the design and architecture of distributed systems with exposure to the system performance and scaling 3+ years of experience in developing interactive web applications using mySQL, postgreSQL & JavaScript.
