Product Designer – Calgary, AB We are currently looking for a Digital Product Designer to add to our growing Product Design Team in our Calgary Office. What does a Product Designer do here? Good question, as the role is a bit different in every organization. Our designers work to ensure that the websites and applications we create for our clients are useful, usable, findable, credible, desirable, accessible, and valuable. Whoa… we know… it’s a lot. Don’t worry though, it’s a supportive environment filled with passionate people who love to help. It’s probably our best quality! We are curious by nature. We seek to understand a business or user problem as clearly as we can, and work collaboratively to solve it by designing something (probably lots of things) that not only look great, but feel and work great too. We are geared for innovation, but not at the expense of the product or its users. We’re comfortable zooming in to the tiniest of details, and zooming back out to understand how it all fits together. If this sounds like we’re describing you as well, we should chat. What We'd Like To See 3 to 6 years spent designing next-level digital products and experiences. A portfolio that not only demonstrates your visual design chops but also articulates how you helped solve the user or business problem. A solid grasp of human-centered design, including research, prototyping, and testing. Strong visual, interaction, and motion design skills. Experience defining customer journey maps, information architecture, and user flows. Stellar communication skills and the ability to articulate your design solutions to clients and team members using a mixture of data and storytelling. Highly collaborative with developers, project managers, and other designers to ensure the product vision is fully implemented to the highest standard.
