Business Need / Purpose of Role Increase Sales of O/E equipment to Brownfields customer sites Carry out the process optimization function required in the Integrated Solutions project development team Carry out site investigations, identify solutions & develop proposals Support & Train Area Manager network and increase Process Engineering Skill for the teams. Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities Including but not limited to: Work with area managers to look for opportunities to add value for customers Visit customer sites to provide technical support and discuss site production plans and challenges Gather data, analyse, and model systems to confirm and quantify recommendations (utilizing basic software as well as simulators such as JKSimMet) Carry out Process Investigations, Design, Debottlenecking and Optimisation Write reports and deliver presentations to communicate proposed process improvements and optimisation Compile quotations for equipment Train and enhance the Mineral Processing knowledge of your colleagues Project management as needed (including installation supervision and commissioning) Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree with one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Tertiary qualifications in Process Engineering, Chemical Eng, or equivalent Extensive operational exposure in process plant environment Exposure to operational improvement and optimization Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. Mathematical: Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis. Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Platforms, JK Simmet modelling Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Drivers licence Physical Demands: Car driving: For up to 7 hours per day Travelling: Frequent and at short notice on aircraft both interstate and international. Requirement to use non-standard transport such as boat, helicopter or similar. Destinations can be extremely remote. Work Environment: Moderate office environment with regular exposure to loud mine sites
