Job Description The Role The Network Planning Graduate is a key position in the Network Planning Department that contributes to keeping Melbourne moving. This role is responsible for the effective scheduling of route services utilising state of the art scheduling software. This exciting role offers the right candidate an opportunity for a long-term career in public transport planning and logistics. Tasks include assisting the Network Planning Team with: Maintaining rosters in accordance with legislation and Enterprise Agreements Demographic research Development of business cases to improve services for customers Route design planning Service capacity planning Desired Skills and Experience Skills & Experience Degree or Diploma in Data Science, Logistics, Planning or Engineering Some form of relatable work experience (preferred) Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially excel Sound knowledge of planning, scheduling and rostering principles Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Flexible and positive attitude Strong communication skills, verbal and written Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team High attention to detail We offer full time employment in a stable and expanding industry with continuous on the job training and experienced mentors.
