Position: Legal Counsel OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB: For its location in Copenhagen, UnitedLex is looking for qualified candidates for the position as Legal Counsel. The primary role in this position will be to provide legal advise with minimum supervision in the IT services industry. REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES: Law Degree (Bachelor and/or Master); Fluency in Danish and English language; Working proficiency in another language will be considered as an advantage; 5-6 years of relevant experience, preferably in a global cross-functional team environment; Basic understanding of the major contractual and commercial elements of IT/outsourcing services agreements and/or software licensing agreements (e.g., services, service levels, pricing concepts, payment provisions, high-risk terms affecting performance and/or payment, security)requirements,) would be a considerable advantage; Experience of working with various business units across corporate structures on a regional and/or global scale; Strong legal and commercial reasoning capacity. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide legal advise to key stakeholders, including analyzing, drafting and negotiating IT contracts with respect to complex commercial activities; Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations; Analyze, draft and review legal opinions and other legal documents; Work as a leveraged member of a Global legal team; Attending and leading meetings; Personal competencies: Strong organizational skills, Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize; Strong communication and negotiation skills; Ability to work in a team environment and to be proactive; We offer: Motivating work environment in a highly qualified team; Work within a multicultural global environment; Continuous professional development and training; Work on international projects with focus on the legal system applicable to the law degree held by the candidate; Competitive remuneration and social benefits package.
