Smarsh is seeking a legal intern (2L) to support and learn from our small and efficient legal team. Working under the supervision of all legal team members, the intern will participate in the following activities to support our team and the business: Responsibilities: Review and enter information from negotiated customer contracts (in electronic format) into Smarsh CRM. Review and correct inaccurate contractual information in the CRM system. Other duties as assigned, to include legal case support, supervised document review, and general administrative assistance. Maintain a high level of accuracy. Maintain strict confidentiality of all information obtained during the engagement. Intern will be required to sign a confidentiality and invention assignment agreement. Qualifications: 2L / Rising 3L student Familiarity with contracts and contract terms desirable Ability to work independently Excellent attention to detail Ability to effectively use independent judgment to interpret contractual provisions and select information for data entry following training and under supervision Must successfully complete criminal background screening This is a paid position for up to 20 hours per week. We desire a long-term intern who will work with us through their 3L year. We are flexible in our approach to your work schedule. This is a great opportunity to familiarize yourself with what it means to work “in-house” at a corporation.
