The Role: This role will be part of the Enterprise Data Management & Analytics team within the larger SiteMinder Finance team. In this role as Operations Intelligence & Insight Manager you will be working with various business teams across all functions to gather, analyse, and report on data and most importantly to provide actionable insights. This manager role will be essential in building our capabilities and capacity as part of this organization dedicated to increasing our focus on sales, marketing and the customer. The role will be directly reporting to the Vice President, Enterprise Data Management & Analytics. What you’ll do: Help define and drive implementation of an overall reporting strategy including a library of core report templates and content that fulfils the majority of requirements. Drive towards automation and self-service for these reports Manage the team to produce compelling and informative graphs, analyses, and presentations. Set standards of excellence in reporting and analytics around quality, timeliness (SLA achievements) and insight Identify, develop and recommend appropriate data sources, analytics, modelling and reporting methodologies Analyse operational data related to sales, customers ops and marketing to provide KPI's, Metrics and Dashboards. Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyse business functions and key operations and performance metrics. Communicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders within and outside of the company What you have: 5+ years of Business Intelligence or data analytics experience Expert proficiency with Tableau, MS Excel (VBA knowledge a plus), MS Access and comfort with large data sets. Strong SQL skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries. Strong understanding and user of Salesforce CRM. Salesforce certifications preferred and/or 4+ years’ experience with Salesforce Platform Experience in leading, nurturing and developing a (small) team. Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business units. Analytical problem solver and independent-minded thinker; can apply theoretical concepts to real business problems.
