Keeping our customers systems up and running is a key priority at Squarehead - are you the right person to join us in this task? We are looking for an inquisitive service engineer - an electro detective with a passion for problem solving. With the support of our in-house development and production departments you will become an integral part of our team. You will have the opportunity to use all your electronic and mechanical skills to trouble-shoot, repair, and test Squarehead products. Your work will also be vital in aiding us to improve our future products. You will experience varied work days with many opportunities to augment and build your skills with your new colleagues here in Nydalen. You will also get to travel to our customers across the world for on-site service when necessary. We are looking for an engineer with a background in electronics who is eager to dive into a world of electronic production, assembly, soldering, inspection, mechanical production, milling, moulding, anodising, and lacquering. You will need to be structured in your work with a focus on details, quality assurance and documentation. Required skills and qualifications A good understanding of electronics. Good computer skills Bachelor degree in a relevant area (newly qualified graduates are also encouraged to apply). Experience with reading and creating technical documentation. Good communication skills in both Norwegian and English (written and spoken). Other relevant skills: Understanding of PCB schematics and layout. Understanding of mechanical 2D drawings. Knowledge of Ethernet/network, USB, SPI, I2C. Coding such as Python. Comfortable working in various operating systems (macOS, Linux & Windows). What can we offer you?
