About the Role We are currently seeking expressions of interest for suitably experienced Mechanical Fitters for upcoming Wind Farm projects. Our client provides specialised industrial support services to the renewable industry, wind and solar sectors. They provide skilled and qualified resources to wind farm owners and tier 1 service providers to the sector for construction and commissioning activities. These roles will vary from project work to potentially ongoing casual work. We are looking for people who are comfortable working big rosters and long days. For these roles you must be comfortable working at heights up to and greater than 100m. On top of the chance to work on some new and exciting wind farm projects are client is offering great rates of pay. Skills and Experience To be successful, you will require: Relevant trade qualifications Working at heights ticket (within 2 years of issue) First aid training (within 3 years of completion) Current tower rescue training White Card Drivers licence Police Clearance within 12 months of issue preferred GWO training highly regarded Previous experience working on wind towers highly regarded Ability to pass a full Pre Employment Medical including Drug & Alcohol Screening prior to starting A commitment to working safely and in a team Steady work history with checkable references What's in it for you?
