Job Purpose The Reward Manager will lead the development and implementation of reward and benefits strategies to attract, motivate and retain top talent. The role will deliver for the first time a Total Reward approach to both strongly support the company’s growth and ensure cost effective management of our financial resources. The Reward Manager will develop the tools, resources, policies and processes to enable HR to create and manage the job architecture, the compensation and benefits architecture, short and long term performance related Rewards, salary and benefits benchmarking and pay review, and regulatory compliance. Monitor the internal and external environments to ensure all Reward programs are fit for purpose, competitive and relevant. Key Accountabilities Total Reward strategy - Create a Total Reward strategy and fully implement it in line with our overall HR strategy and EVP. Pay review - Manage the annual pay review process across the group, ensuring alignment with business goals and performance objectives. Sales Commission - Review and revise commission schemes for Sales in order to incentivise and reward outstanding sales growth. Compensation and benefits architecture - Build a job and compensation architecture to meet our needs over the next 2-3 years. Benchmarking - Undertake regular benchmarking activities in order to provide the data we require to measure the competitiveness of our remuneration, partnering with external providers as required. Integrate and analyse Reward data collected from multiple sources and present results clearly, succinctly and accurately. Pay and career progression plans - Build pay and career progression plans to achieve the desired business outcomes. Competitive Benefits - As part of our Total Reward approach create and implement a strategy for benefits to ensure we remain competitive. Benefits management - Manage all benefits, including new program introduction, supplier selection, contract negotiations and annual enrolment into the benefits plans. Ensure benefits are clearly communicated and delivered to our employees. Recognition plans - Produce recognition plans to support reward and retention of talent. Leverage external expertise - Work with our external consultants as appropriate and specialists to leverage their knowledge and expertise in the development of the initiatives. Reporting - Develop ongoing communication methods/reporting metrics to regularly communicate progress against key performance indicators and metrics for the business. Data guardian - Create close relationships with Payroll, Finance and IT support to ensure Reward information remains accurate and deadlines are met Confidentiality - Be comfortable engaging with any audience and handling confidential and highly sensitive information with absolute discretion and professionalism People Manager - Lead the Reward team with a healthy interest in their performance and development in order to build the capability of the organisation. Requirements Minimum qualifications and knowledge: Degree qualified A strong working understanding of Reward policies and programs, employee relations, legal and the fiscal aspects of Reward operations Experience of managing performance related pay schemes Experience of implementing Reward policies Experience of carrying out salary reviews and surveys Experience with Willis/Towers Watson Global Grading methodology or similar scheme Minimum experience: 3-5 years proven experience as a Reward Manager - Has held responsible for reward for a large business unit or division, experience with total reward and programs, including pay, incentives and benefits. Ideally, experience of working within an international matrix environment. MENA experience is preferred, but not essential Job-specific skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Advanced Excel skills - Comfortable with all formulae, pivot tables and analysis Proven basic statistical knowledge Advanced analytical, problem solving, program and project management skills Ability to build and maintain strong partnerships within and outside of the organisation A collaborative and team player approach and demonstrable experience in making things happen. A great sense of humour, empathy and integrity as well as ability to work in a fast paced environment Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task Experience of HR Systems is essential
