Tasks Managing all regional regulation/homologation activities for new vehicles, telecommunication equipment, BEV components and spare parts, developing milestones to ensure certification deadlines with the manufacturer and local authorities are met. Execute (Singapore market) / Coordinate (12 importer markets) the homologation of new cars, services and equipment (charging, Connect, etc.) incl. documentation and change management. Planning and implementation of sample-based effectiveness tests of processes for obtaining and maintaining vehicle approval for Porsche vehicles. Ensuring the secure, comprehensible transfer and documentation of type approval relevant vehicle engineering data e.g. to authorities or test services. Monitoring and tracking of market specific product related regulation activities (planned proposals, new regulations or changes) and assessing their implications for Porsche. Conducting regulatory research on existing rules and regulations and check information/regulation for their relevance for Porsche. Ensure that relevant software and hardware changes will be reported to the authorities in the markets and required approval processes will be accomplished. Coordinate regulation/homologation activities within the Asia-Pacific region related to required certificates and fuel economy labels in time for the market launch of new products. Represent Porsche at various emissions related Government, Industry and Trade Association organizations, conferences and meetings. Qualifications Master in Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent), Certified Technician preferred Excellent overall understanding of automotive technology, diagnostics and repair. At least 5 years in directly related experience with an automobile manufacturer in safety, emissions and certification areas Experience in multicultural working environments Excellent English language skills (written and spoken), additional knowledge in German as benefit Proficiency with MS Office & Lotus Notes Solid organization, communication and reporting skills Independent working style as well as leadership ability Willingness to travel as required Start: from March 2020 At a Glance Porsche Asia Pacific Pte Ltd commenced operations on October 1st, 2001 and was founded to give Porsche closer ties with Asia Pacific markets that are becoming increasingly important.
