The Position Reporting to the Restaurant Relations Supervisor, this position is responsible for leading customer retention and revenue growth within your local district. As a Restaurant Relations Manager, you will ensure proper territory management, while staying in tune with local market conditions. Ideally, you'll be innovative in overcoming customer obstacles. You'll lend an insight and always provide a constructive perspective, get creative, and challenge current thinking, internally and externally, in order to achieve goals. You will navigate challenging customer scenarios in and out of the field while you're naturally positive, encouraging to those around you and resilient under pressure. Have a look at the responsibilities and requirements below: Responsibilities Meet/exceed assigned Restaurant Relations goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Goals are centered around: Frequent customer engagement Ability to cultivate customer fidelity and prevent 'churn' Becoming a 'trusted advisor' to our customers Working closely with customers to increase product and feature adoption, maximize their online availability and ultimately grow their business through our partnership Stay current with organizational changes, initiatives, and vision Maintain an experienced level of understanding of all products and services that OpenTable offers Maintain clear communication lines and a sense of camaraderie with teammates Share and implement standard methodologies with members of the sales and restaurant relations team 30-50% travel is expected depending on local market Take initiative to create resources to share and upskill restaurant relations across the company Always looking to identifying the best strategy for any scenario or reporting situation Skills Proven customer relations success College degree expected, advanced degree is a plus Restaurant management and/or sales experience strongly preferred Experience working within the restaurant industry expected Understanding of and eagerness to learn and use data analytics as the cornerstone of your decision-making and conversations Excellent understanding of, and response to, the changing selling environment Strong PC skills and overall technically savvy Strong leadership skills Consistent record of successful sales execution, pipeline management, and delivering against goals Bold, committed and results driven Strong negotiation and decision-making ability Excellent time management and organizational skills Self-motivated and able to perform well against bold goals and deadlines Thorough knowledge of consultative selling process, ability to demonstrate complete control of process with prospects in the field and ability to train other staff on the process Flexibility to travel Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Proficiency in English and local market language Benefits Access to top chefs and restaurateurs in your market.
