The Boston office of Nixon Peabody is recruiting for a Real Estate Paralegal. This position is within our Community Development Finance practice group for real estate and project finance transactions. We are seeking a self-starter and proactive “team-player” who is able to work in a fast-paced, and demanding work environment. Responsibilities: Perform due diligence including review of title commitments, surveys and underlying title documents and entity documents, coordinate and implement transactions and closings. Organize and maintain due diligence using document management systems. Other responsibilities as client needs dictate. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree. Self-directed individual with the demonstrated ability to prioritize, juggle multiple assignments, function as part of a cohesive team and meet deadlines in a timely manner. Excellent, organizational, communication, analytical and critical thinking skills. Strong verbal and written communications. Ability and willingness to work overtime to meet client needs.
