Our Awards: https://www.mediakind.com/our-awards/ Job Responsibilities and Duties Develops a clear overall understanding of the Cyber Security base line requirements, project scope, technical requirements and solution design. Understand Threat Vectors, various types of attacks and perform Forensic analysis Reviews the latest alerts to determine relevancy and urgency. Create custom rules, Objects, User Groups, Natting, Logging, Alert and Reporting etc on FortiGate's NGFW. Monitor, identify, analyses and investigate all response activities related to cybersecurity incidents. Participate in evaluating, recommending, implementing, and troubleshooting security solutions and evaluating IT security of the new IT Infrastructure systems. Able to drive organizations and resources to complete required tasks within time. Perform Automation of incident data collection and customization with Python and execute pre-defined acceptance test. Assists in the configuration testing and troubleshooting of Fortinet security solutions in customer environments. Driving the Task to completion with state of work document, Technical Architecture, Knowledge Transfer. Recognize and organize attacker tools, tactics, and procedures in indicators of compromise (IOCs) that can be applied to current and future investigations. Decipher attack motivations and techniques by correlating threat data from various sources to complete a comprehensive picture of potential cyber-attacks. Provide timely detection, identification and alerts of possible intrusions, anomalous activities and misuse activities and distinguish these incidents and events from benign activities. Maintain expert-level technical knowledge in the following technology disciplines as they relate to Fortinet’s products. Network Security Infrastructure – Switching, Routing, SD-WAN, Proxies Firewalls, UTM, APT, Application Control & Content Filtering, Web Proxying VPN technologies (SSL VPN/IPSEC VPN) & associated topologies Centralized Monitoring Logging and Reporting solutions Experience & Core Skill requirement 12+ years of experience in Cyber security including 6+ years in FortiGate /next gen Firewall. Solid understanding of security framework, controls and standards (ISO27001, NIST etc) networking principals and technologies such as: Endpoint Security, Virtualization, Cloud, NAC, SIEM & Vulnerability Management. Security infrastructure: Firewalls, VPN, IPS, Anti-Virus, Web Filtering and Application control Experience in various other security platform (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks...) Detailed technical experience in the installation, configuration and operation of security products. Networking and management: switching, routing, load balancing & network management, Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Extensive knowledge of different security threats and packet capture tools. Should have current knowledge of attack methodology including but not limited to malicious tactics & techniques (vulnerability/penetration testing), and response procedures. Staying up to date with emerging security threats including applicable regulatory security requirements. Good Knowledge of Python Scripting and it’s application.
