Our client is a leading financial services company in the UAE that is looking for a qualified Arabic speaker and senior Finance professional to join their team in the capacity of Director of Finance. The incumbent will be responsible for managing and overseeing all financial activities of the company. Key responsibilities: Set directives for the departments in developing and enabling implementation of new strategies, processes and concepts to further improve the organization’s competitive advantage Accountable for a result-oriented management overlooking and considering cross-departmental performance/results Manage and develop people and resources including provision of a strong leadership presence Steer the department(s) expenditure and requirements, keeping in mind its impact and utilization on the financial budget Foster organizational culture by establishing quality awareness and service orientation and obeying consistent implementation of processes such as Project Management and Change Management throughout the responsible departments Lead and influence the development, implementation of policies and procedures and enable its adherence Effectively lead the entire daily financial transactions and controlling tasks of the company according to International Accounting Standards and oversee the month end and the year-end accounts closure activities Steer the budget preparation process, to ensure that this is delivered in line with the annual budget parameters and timescales Lead the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements and reports to meet the ongoing and future needs of the business and ensure compliance with all fiscal regulations Key requirements: Arabic Speakers 12+ years of experience in Finance, 5 years of which should be in a management position Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce CMA,CPA,ACCA or other accounting certificate Interested candidates please apply to this advertisement directly or send your CV to [email removed] *ONLY SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONTACTED*
