Job Description KEY PURPOSE The Business Intelligence Analyst supports the data science and business objectives, ensuring accuracy in end to end data management. Maintaining healthy data architecture and data governance. Supporting the business by identifying business intelligence, reporting and data analysis needs. Elevating the business and driving business value with data to utilise as critical knowledge and information. KEY OUTCOMES BI and data warehouse Strategy & Reporting Define and uphold good governance Leadership and facilitation of information gathering, structuring this information and upholding the data principles Develop and manage BI solutions Business requirements and analysis Functional process analysis Define business requirements, priorities and key performance indicators. Design and develop requirements, reporting and dashboards Testing Quality and Governance of Data Information quality assurance and good data governance Continuous Improvement and research evaluation Identify opportunities to improve processes and strategies with technology solutions Recommend solutions for business improvement based on insights from reporting and analysis Qualifications PERSON DETAILS: WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Data Analysis in Operations, Resource Planning & Risk Management- Min 3 years Business Enterprise Knowledge - 3 years Business Analysis - 1 to 2 years PREFERRED EDUCATION: QUALIFICATIONS: ACCREDITATIONS WITH PROFESSIONAL BODY REQUIRED Matric Post Matric, degree in statistics/economics/mathematicians/computer science Business Analysis Certification Ability to read code and support applications,reports and processes PREFERRED TECHNICAL SKILLS OR KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED PL SQL Power BI/Tableau Advanced Excel SSRS Minitab/R/Python/Hadoop/SAS PREFERRED Big data analytics capability, regression analysis, predictive analysis & forecasting Additional Information Accountability Action orientated Manages complexity Collaborative Communication Simple writing skills Business writing skills Problem solving skills Efficient and Effective mind-set Growth and development mind-set Business astute Planning and organisation Purpose driven
