Job Description Leveraging our diverse and extensive medical imaging dataset, Annalise.ai is developing tools to assist Radiologists by seamlessly integrating in their current workflow to provide diagnostic support. Our suite of comprehensive AI-solutions will support the radiologist before, during and after imaging interpretation. We are looking for a Software Engineer who is passionate about working on break-through software products that positively impact patients lives at scale. The Software Engineer should be passionate about developing cutting edge solutions with strong design principles. You will work on exciting greenfield projects using a variety of technologies as we develop new products from the ground up. Fantastic Sydney CBD location. Responsibilities Collaborate closely with the development team, Product team and UI/UX design specialists to deliver excellent software products in an agile environment Ensure that the products are adequately developed, tested and are fit for purpose Aim towards continuous delivery, removing obstacles and identifying potential for delivery, business and process improvements Understand and communicate the constraints between immediate delivery and the long-term viability of the products Implement experiments to assess the performance of various algorithms and architectures, using quantitative results to iteratively improve our AI powered products Participate in the design of the products to meet functionality, taking into account software robustness, scalability and performance Design, develop and maintain high performance and scalable software products Grow technical capabilities in team members Experience in developing for cloud platforms A preference for readable, easily maintained code bases Strong focus on creating testable software, using current best practices to ensure software quality Strong understanding of secure coding practices, and knowledge of mitigating common vulnerabilities Strong understanding of technical practices such as clean code, pair programming, design patterns and tradeoffs Requirements: Minimum Requirements: Strong experience in developing high production quality code. Minimum 5+ years in software engineering / development with extensive knowledge of Agile development practices. Comfortable working in greenfield projects with higher levels of ambiguity Extensive experience in using Electron to build cross-platform desktop application Javascript, Typescript, Python best practices Good experience in cloud native software development in AWS Preferred: Good experience using Kubernetes and Docker Infrastructure as code, Terraform, Ansible Production experience using modern CI/CD pipelines Extensive experience in programmatic image manipulation using Javascript / Typescript
