Esri Canada has an exceptional opportunity for a professional Senior Consultant who will leverage their experience in Facilities Management and emerging trends in spatial technology to provide exceptional consulting services to our clients. They will provide solutions including plant/building intelligence, incident mapping, indoor positioning and mobile wayfinding using Esri technologies. This position can be based in any of the following Esri Canada offices: Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, Montréal, Ottawa, Québec, Toronto, Vancouver, Victoria. Responsibilities included: Understand our customers, their business, overall missions, operations, processes and build Esri based solutions build on robust relationships Familiarization with clients’ tactical and strategic needs and work within the facilities, buildings and asset management leaders across a wide variety of industries. The primary focus includes healthcare, commercial, energy (petroleum, etc.), all government levels, and higher education. Assess data using ArcGIS Indoor positioning technology, and provide valuable analytical data such as walking patterns, dwell times and frequencies Provide business development support toward technology and implementation patterns with new and existing customers. Collaborate effectively with Esri Canada’s service managers, marketing and sales teams to develop new business. Actively participate in the preparation of proposals (e.g. RFPs, RFIs and RFQs) Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to technical and executive audiences recommending solutions Specific skill requirements: 5+ years’ experience with a focus on using spatial technologies within in Facility Management, building information management, architecture, space planning, and Smart Buildings Knowledge and experience with Esri products such as ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS for Desktop, ArcGIS for Server Experience as a consultant or engineer with BIM systems Ability to consult and engage at both technical and executive level leadership Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, engineering, architecture, urban planning, geography, GIS, computer science, or a related field Recommended Qualifications: Experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) technology Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology Experience with Autodesk suite – REVIT Experience indoor networks and beacons Experience with Apple Indoor Mapping Data Format (IMDF) Experience with space planning, plant management, building management and related technologies Proficiency with ArcGIS, locational intelligence, spatial analysis, geospatial technology Excellent verbal and written communication skills In English and preferably also in French.
