With a rapidly expanding portfolio of world-class automation projects, we have an opportunity for a Senior Automation Product Specialist to join our Project Team in Roy Hill. This role will fast-track your career in the field of automation and will be a gateway to future automation projects across Australia and possible international opportunities. Responsibilities of this role consists of but are not limited to the below: Comply with all Epiroc and customer OHS processes and procedures Leading product development, improvement activities and testing Preparing comprehensive documentation, including technical reports and test plans Commissioning of machine technology, control systems and network infrastructure Diagnosis, troubleshooting and repairs of Automation/Technology systems Perform calibration and programming to ensure Automation/Technology systems function as required Providing technical support to internal and external customers Liaise with factory engineers to recommend improvements / feedback on automation performance The successful applicant must have: Superior technical expertise and familiarity with Automation and Technology systems Advanced knowledge of IT, network and communication systems Tertiary qualification in Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, Control Systems or relevant trade qualification Experience working in a mining environment Ability to work successfully in a team Strong analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills Commitment to providing quality customer service Excellent verbal and written communication skills Flexibility and willingness to travel regularly Epiroc are an equal opportunity employer and encourage women and people from culturally diverse, Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander backgrounds to apply.
