Through syntactic and semantic analysis you will extract various dependencies from the code. Your work will have a positive impact on companies and developers maintaining a legacy codebase. A common scenario is that a Data Warehousing team in a larger enterprise company ends up with 1m+ lines of legacy SQL code. This job is a perfect fit if you enjoy functional programming and you wish to work on something fairly unique. -------------------------------------------------- A day in the life of a Scala Engineer at Collibra: -------------------------------------------------- You'll be reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, and will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including: Discuss technical solutions with your colleagues Implement support for various SQL and no-SQL dialects Modify grammar in parsers to support new syntax constructs Implement algorithms for traversing AST tree to capture relevant dependencies and serialize it Optimize overall software performance and get rid of bottlenecks Participate in architectural design Celebrate your successes!
