RESTAURANT MANAGER – BURGER KING SOUTH AFRICA Want to be part of a global brand!!! You run a tight ship. And you’ll need every bit of that fire as a Restaurant Manager. From complete customer satisfaction to managing your team, running the operations (including hygiene and safety) of the store, and ensuring financial performance, you’ll have an entire business in your hands. Responsibilities include amongst others the overall accountability for the operation of a single restaurant (10-25 employees) ensuring delivery on the Brand Promise, and ensuring desired restaurant outcomes (quality service and products, increased sales, profitability, and employee retention). Minimum Requirements Grade 12 / Tertiary qualification Excellent communication skills (a third language is preferable) 2-4 years of management experience in a restaurant or QSR (Quick Serve Restaurant) environment Proficiency in MS Office and Micros Ability to work in a fast paced environment Ability to lead and motivate a team Driver’s license and a valid passport The ability to work irregular hours and/ or shifts, weekends, Public Holidays Clear criminal record Clear Credit Record (Will be working with cash/stock or working with finances) Excellent numeracy and literacy skills Drivers’ license (unendorsed) POS (Point of Sale) experience (Micros) PLEASE NOTE THAT PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO CANDIDATES FROM A PREVIOUSLY DISADVANTAGED BACKGROUND, IN TERMS OF OUR COMMITMENT TO EMPLOYMENT EQUITY.
