You will contribute to executing projects in conceptual, design, construction, commissioning and operational phases for our clients in the Energy, Industrial and Mining sectors. The responsibilities of this role include performing the following activities to the highest quality: Work collaboratively with clients, project managers, engineers, designers and drafters in the preparing deliverables to BBA and client standards Prepare deliverables such as drawings, program and configuration files, reports, specifications, etc Perform site inspections, testing and commissioning at client sites, locally and abroad Troubleshoot and solve technical issues on site or remotely Share knowledge and experience with others Work Schedule: 37.5 Skills: The successful candidate should identify with and demonstrate the following: Strong safety awareness Honest and trustworthy in accordance with BBA’s ethics and values Client focused with excellent communication skills and attention to detail Desire to share knowledge and experience with other peers Adaptable to various environments and situations Able to learn on the fly Strong ability to plan and organize self and others Results-oriented Able to work within scope, schedule and budget Aptitude for self-development and development of others Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Requirements: For this position, we are looking for candidates with the following experience: Computer Science or Diploma of Technology or Electrical Engineering Degree 3 to 6 years of relevant project experience Excellent communication skills with high competency in English (both spoken and written) Ability to travel to client sites, which could vary from 20% to 50% on an annual basis Interest in manufacturing, industrial automation and working in a production environment The following experiences would be considered an asset and we are willing to develop this skill set in line with your interests, passions and our clients needs: Experience with process data historian tools suck as process data historians / tools (e.g. OSISoft PI Data Historian, PI ProcessBook, PI Datalink, PI Vision, etc.) Experience with SQL and relational database languages Knowledge of industrial networks: Modbus, Ethernet TCP/IP, DNP3, OPC Knowledge of industrial automation devices including PLCs, DCS, HMIs, RTUs, SCADA Knowledge of Cisco Network devices Relevant experience in configuration, deployment and operation for various telecommunications systems (Wi-Fi, wireless and wired IP networks, IP telephony, etc. Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity best practices (IEC 62443)
