Monday- Friday Chef required for busy contract catering restaurant. Day time hours only with all weekend and bank holidays off. Duties involve all preparation and service of food. Working with creativity within budget with the general manager. Teamwork and flexibility is a requirement. Experience necessary. Job Type: Permanent Experience: HACCP: 1 year (Preferred) Chef: 2 years (Preferred) Job Duties: Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner Follow recipes and presentation specifications Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment Restock items as needed throughout the shift Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards Additional Duties: Recording food temperatures Food shopping Menu planning
