GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION To assist the General Manager in managing the introduction of new and on-going projects to meet intended objectives and deadlines, ensuring best manufacturability, cost, quality and time to market. RESPONSIBILITIES Plan, monitor, manages new and on-going projects from initiation through completion. Prioritise and ensure implementation project plans are well executed. Develop detailed project plan and communicate effectively on project expectation to relevant personnel in a timely and clear fashion. Ensure involvement of expertise from all relevant department is well integrated. Prepare and deliver progress and project reports on time. Lead regular meetings to track progress, identify problem areas and work collaboratively on appropriate solutions to assist in keeping projects on schedule. Ensure project results meet requirements taking into consideration on technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost. KEY POSITION REQUIREMENTS Education Ideally Degree educated, preferable in engineering field (chemical, polymer, material industrial) Job Experience 10 years’ work experience with 3 years’ experience as project manager overseeing major projects. Preferably PMP certified Knowledge and Skills Is recognized as an expert in own area within the organization Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver projects within strict and tight deadlines Prior experience with effectively lead change, and building and implementing multi-site improvement plans and run complex projects. Experience in implementing Lean initiatives or Kaizen events.
