Our strength lies within our experienced and dedicated people as well as in the clients we serve. Position: Electronics Assembler Department: OEM & Electronics Dept. Reports to: Electronics Supervisor Basic Function: - To assemble electronic components as directed by the Electronics Supervisor. Duties and Responsibilities: - Ensures that all jobs are processed in accordance with the specification on the drawing, proof, production flow chart, procedures and process control plan. - Keeps an accurate record of all assembly times and quantities using ShopTrak. - Responsible for following of all policies, practices and procedures pertaining to the department or Ampco. - Responsible for the quality of processed goods in the department. - Responsible to be working at a high level of productivity. - Follows daily schedules provided by the Electronics Supervisor. - Perform other duties/special projects as assigned. Requirements: High School Diploma / GED. Willing to train the right person but must have industry related experience. - Work efficiently - Good communication and written skills - Be willing to work as part of the team - Working in an Electronic Manufacturing environment would be an asset - With QC, laminating and testing experience is an advantage - Flexible able to plan and re-plan orders and ship dates push in or pull out - Basic computer skills Exceptional quality and customer service is at the heart of our company.
