Duties: Translate engineering constraints into spacecraft's structure, mechanisms and/or dispenser concepts and assess their feasibility. Carry out overall design studies and validate the product through extensive testing. Establish the design file of a product (configuration, drawings, stack-up analysis, material and treatments) and support the procurement process. Must have: MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field. No work experience or a first work experience. Ability to work across the team and company to drive designs to completion. Willing to learn. Good communication. Good knowledge of English. Nice to Have: Work experience in mechanical design, sizing, and manufacturing technologies and drawings. Knowledge of 3D CAD modelling / 2D drawing specifications (SolidWorks). FEA skills and vibration testing experience. Task automation skills through scripts (Python). Why working for Aerospacelab?
